United States Marine Corps
Neal Prasad, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran
Enlisted in 1989. Parris Island, Camp Lejeune and Twentynine Palms. Deployments connected with Beirut, Panama and Operation Desert Storm. Serving in the Marine Corps was one of the most defining experiences of my life.
In 1989, shortly after graduating from Brick Township High School, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
I completed recruit training at Parris Island, South Carolina, where I distinguished myself during training and earned recognition, graduating as a Private First Class.
I am extremely proud to have served my country and to have received an honorable discharge.
Once a Marine, always a Marine.

What the Corps taught me
Honor, courage and commitment
Honor
Your word should mean something. Treat people fairly and stand up for what you believe is right.
Courage
Accept responsibility, take calculated risks, and be willing to do the difficult things you ask of others.
Commitment
Success doesn't happen overnight. It takes sacrifice, perseverance and the willingness to learn from mistakes.
"Leadership is not about telling people what to do. It's about setting an example, accepting responsibility, and being willing to do the difficult things you ask of others."
Coming home
After leaving the Marine Corps, I returned to civilian life with the same determination and ambition that had motivated me to enlist. Like many veterans, I discovered that transitioning from military service into the business world required a different kind of discipline.
Today I have a particular appreciation for military veterans, first responders, working families, and individuals who dedicate their lives to serving others.
Prime Comfort Group, the heating and cooling company I founded, is proudly veteran-owned. Learn more about Prime Comfort Group.
